The Cryopod to Hell: Classic

The Cryopod to Hell Classic is the original version of TCTH, written based on the original writing prompts, expanded into a full series, with 490 chapters of fun adventures. However, it is extremely flawed, with paper thin characters and plotlines that don’t resolve properly. It abruptly ends at the finale of Route C, and was never finished with a proper ending. Classic is best read after Refresh so you can appreciate where the story came from. As its own story, Classic has too many flaws for anyone to recommend reading first.

  • Part 338a

I teleported into Heaven in the blink of an eye. Really, teleportation is just about the most convenient form of transport imaginable. Thanks to several beacons I’ve placed, I can teleport to a variety of locations with minimal energy cost, not that it really matters. My energy reserves haven’t come close to running out for…

  • Part 337a – Moles

"Uhhhh…. hahhhh… what?" Clarence drearily blinked his eyes open, as he looked around at the absolute pitch blackness surrounding him. No, wait, that wasn’t correct. In fact, it wasn’t pitch blackness, but a blinding whiteness, surrounding him from all directions, like the brightness of ten thousand spotlights all at once. It made his brain scream…

  • Part 336a

Satan paused as he stood before the door that led back to the intelligence room. He contemplated the acts of Jason Hiro silently in his mind, replaying the scene over and over again. That strange confidence he had, the flippant disregard for life. When did such things become part of the Heroic Code? Still though,…

May 4th, 2117. The Labyrinth. A mysterious place created by the demons, though for what reasons I do not know. In the future I come from, the hallways are a shifting mess of u-turns and double-backs, constantly disorienting the traveler and making it nearly impossible to get to the needed destination. Here though, with the…

April 28th, 2117 The men and women in the room waited patiently, despite the fact the new Supreme Commander was already fifteen minutes late. Sitting in rows of aluminum chairs, the varying assortment of generals, lieutenants, scientists, and analysts numbered nearly two hundred, and Jorge was just one man among many who were going to…

  • Part 332a

I calmly wait for a few moments as the replicator crafts the molecules together to make myself a fresh cup of coffee. Amelia is sitting on the other side of the kitchen in one of the few easy chairs we had set up, staring out blankly into space. Her expression is… pained. That woman’s death…

  • Part 331a

Amelia grins intently as she puts the finishing touches on her sand-castle. "It’s perfect! Looks just like a place I lived in for a few decades!" I stare in awe at the three-foot tall monstrosity. "How are you so good at making these? It’s like you were born to form sand." Amelia giggles at me…

  • Part 330a

"CAN I GET AN AAAAAMEN UP IN HERE?" Clarence screamed into the microphone as he dropped to his knees and threw his hands up into the sky dramatically. "AMEN!" The massive auditorium full of people cheered in delight as they whipped their heads up and down furiously. "God is watching! God loves us all! God…

  • Part 329a

I stared forwards at the mirror as Amelia reached way up to adjust my tie. "I’m surprised you know anything about this." Amelia shrugged and smiled. "I’m still a woman, Jason. I know a thing or two about fashion, and I’ve known many men over my lifetime, even if I held no real affection for…
