The Cryopod to Hell: Classic

The Cryopod to Hell Classic is the original version of TCTH, written based on the original writing prompts, expanded into a full series, with 490 chapters of fun adventures. However, it is extremely flawed, with paper thin characters and plotlines that don’t resolve properly. It abruptly ends at the finale of Route C, and was never finished with a proper ending. Classic is best read after Refresh so you can appreciate where the story came from. As its own story, Classic has too many flaws for anyone to recommend reading first.

  • Part 298a

June 6th, 2101, 3:10 AM. According to the projected arrival time, the attack party has 27 hours before they arrive at Volgarius. In three hours time, they’ll halt and pause while we create a wormhole. I may end up having them circle around to a place less directly in the path from their world to…

  • Part 297a

It’s been a long time since we began our voyage. Soon, it will come to an end, and we will likely die in a horrific suicidal attack against the Volgrim. May 14th, 2101. "I’ve led the forces that saved this world a dozen times from the Volgrim! Nobody expected an attack of this magnitude!" Beatrix grimaced at the brutal barrage she was receiving from the other debaters on stage. She was holding them off the best she could, but everything she was saying was being…

  • Part 294a

"Hello Tom, I’m on the scene now amidst the chaos that has engulfed the outer city limits of London. The south side of the city has been all but annihilated by the Volgrim, but these winged saviors that came from the sky have appeared to pacify all the remaining aliens." "Excellent work, Jane. We’ll be…

  • Part 293a

It was the 29th of December, in the year 2100, when humanity finally learned of the Angels. America, always a bastion of devoutly religious believers, had been wiped off the map before their suspicions had been confirmed. Almost a hundred years earlier, a poll had been taken of the world in which citizens of North…

  • Part 292a

Forget the 24th century, the world might be ending hundreds of years ahead of schedule. Amelia and I had worked together to destroy a few dozen of the Dragoons, but I was beginning to feel exhaustion set in. Even using wordsmithing to refresh my mind and body occasionally wasn’t doing what it needed for me….

  • Part 289a

An explosion. A flash of bright light. The sound of metal smashing into metal, as teams of titanic warriors careened into each other. A little boy watched from a nearby window, his body shaking half in terror, half in amazement at the battle he was witnessing. He was just an orphan, left behind in the…
