The Cryopod to Hell: Classic

The Cryopod to Hell Classic is the original version of TCTH, written based on the original writing prompts, expanded into a full series, with 490 chapters of fun adventures. However, it is extremely flawed, with paper thin characters and plotlines that don’t resolve properly. It abruptly ends at the finale of Route C, and was never finished with a proper ending. Classic is best read after Refresh so you can appreciate where the story came from. As its own story, Classic has too many flaws for anyone to recommend reading first.

  • Part 278a

I remember when I was a kid, someone told me "Trust nobody, not even yourself." It’s kind of ironic, given my entire intelligence division is staffed entirely by my clones. Also, Harold’s wife, Helen, she teleports down here occasionally. But generally speaking, this place is only for myself. Each clone is their own person, but…

  • Part 277a

I groaned as I slumped into my bed, back at my underground base. Taking off my helmet, I set it to the side as I flopped down face-first onto the comforting material. It was so soft… I just wanted to lie there with my face pressed against the white pillowcase and the cotton comforter and…

  • Part 276a

I felt my entire body shaking slightly, as I reeled from the appearance of yet another dark presence in my mind. When I ‘died’ during my battle with Satan, the curse mark lost its power on my face, though the scar persists. My clones, for some reason, never had the curse mark, so I was…

  • Part 274a

It took me a moment to regain my composure, but my mental state was very traumatized. The AI in my helmet kept giving off preliminary counts of survivors and those presumed deceased and it was starting to really irritate me, but I stuck with it. Fifteen billion angels and gods survived. Sixty billion died. The…

  • Part 273a

" Immunity." Right after Satan left, I had finally gotten my bearings and realized that one of the two Volgrim had blasted me with a massive telepathic attack. Using my wordsmithing, I quickly gave myself protection from her telepathy, wondering why I didn’t think of doing that first. Of all things, a telepathic attack was…

  • Part 272a

I arrived just in time to see Satan locked in mortal combat with three clones, as well as Gabriel, Zeus, and Raphael. Of course, Satan wasn’t alone. Aiding him were two of his demon generals, ones I didn’t recognize, but who my latent telepathy identified as Diablo and Bael. Bael was one big son of…

  • Part 269a

The officers on board the Explorer-class ship, Excelsior, were prepping for their first voyage, as the crew of 1,200 shifted to and fro, gearing up for their launch in just a few hours. Only a few days ago, the EPS (Earth Protective Shield) was completed and came online, and the offensive fleet that was to…
