The Cryopod to Hell: Classic

The Cryopod to Hell Classic is the original version of TCTH, written based on the original writing prompts, expanded into a full series, with 490 chapters of fun adventures. However, it is extremely flawed, with paper thin characters and plotlines that don’t resolve properly. It abruptly ends at the finale of Route C, and was never finished with a proper ending. Classic is best read after Refresh so you can appreciate where the story came from. As its own story, Classic has too many flaws for anyone to recommend reading first.

FTL drives are not a thing yet. I keep trying to make them, but the best I’ve got right now is sub-light drives, putting us at 99% the speed of light. By enhancing the intelligence of some of Earth’s foremost defense contractors and researchers, I’ve managed to multiply researching speed by over a hundred times…

"You’re a demon, huh? Why are you in human form?" I stared across the desk at the man in front of me. Pitch black hair that softly fell past his ears, a smooth, attractive face with a chiseled chin, wearing a professional looking pinstripe suit. He was a demon, in human form, that had the…

"Make no mistake, these are not good tidings." Zeus and Gabriel had assumed temporary human forms, and were now standing on a skyscraper in New York City, using their peerless vision to observe various things happening among the humans below them. "We neither want the demons wiped out, nor a permanent truce formed with them."…

I stared out at the city around me from the top of Lady Liberty’s recently rebuilt torch. I was the only person here today, which suited me just fine. In my pure white garb, with my mask plastered across every major news network 24/7, I’d stand out way too much. When it comes down to…

"Hide here, Antonio. Y-you should be safe." Camilla whispered as quietly as she possibly could. Camilla’s hand trembled violently as she piled the garbage on top of her little brother. He was only five years old, and he didn’t know what horror was chasing after them. Antonio nodded quickly, his face pale as his eyes…

I watched silently on the Mothership’s scanners as the Volgrim ship turned away and blasted off into space. After a few moments, I found myself breathing again. I had held my breath as they left, though for what reason I did not know. Many feelings float around inside my heart, as I stare at the…

Stepping onto the transporter on-board my Mothership, in the blink of an eye, Harold sent me over to the bridge of the Volgrim ship. The instant I arrived, alarm bells went off all over the ship. I couldn’t understand anything at first, but by quickly casting " Understand. " followed by " Translate." I was…

"We’ve received a communication from Volgarius, direct from the Founders themselves." Primus 16 glanced at the symbols scrolling across his datapad as he read the message title. "URGENT: Must read immediately." "That was remarkably fast. How were they able to transmit a message within a tenth of an orbital cycle?" Elder Nufaris stared ahead at…

Everything is going so well now. The first batch of ten thousand recruits have arrived in my ‘secret’ base, which is not only no longer secret, it’s now classified as a sovereign territory outside all existing country laws, so that the USA can’t attempt to seize my technology, tax me, etc. No reverse engineering is…
