A young man named Jason Hiro is depressed and feels as if his life is aimless, thus he volunteers to enter a cryogenics program so his body will at least be useful for science. He wakes up 100,000 years in the future, only to discover that humanity has gone nearly extinct, the humans who remain are all slaves, and the slave masters are the Demons. Humans are nothing more than chattel for their new overlords.
